• Report State Owned Vehicle Accidents

  EVERY accident involving a State owned vehicle is required to be reported to DAS Fleet Operations within 48 hours of the accident.

• Parking State Owned Vehicles

  In general, all state-owned and rental vehicles must be parked overnight at state-owned or leased facilities.

• DAS Basic Fleet Information and Services

  DAS offers a wide variety of vehicles for lease for inter-agency use and can be assigned to an agency on a permanent basis to help complete their job duties.

• For Drivers of DAS State-Owned Vehicles

  As a state employee it is your responsibility to drive courteously and obey all motor vehicle laws.

• DAS Print, Mail and Courier Services

  The Department of Administrative Services' Central Printing is a full-service shop offering a variety of print services to all state agencies, municipalities and non-profits.

• DAS Fleet Permanently Assigned State Vehicles

  If an individual employee requires the exclusive use of a motor vehicle in order to perform his or her job duties, the agency shall submit a request for a vehicle for permanent assignment.

• Submit a Printing Request from DAS Central Printing

  The Department of Administrative Services' Central Printing is a full-service shop offering a variety of print services to all state agencies, municipalities and non-profits. 

• State Properties Review Board (SPRB)

  The mission of the State Properties Review Board is to provide oversight of State real estate activities, acquisition of farm development rights, and the hiring of architects, engineers and other construction-related professionals, as proposed by State Executive Branch agencies.

• DAS Facilities Planning and Technical Services

  The DAS Facilities Planning and Technical Services Unit develops and maintains a three year capital improvement plan, ensures ADA compliance, life and safety as well as environmental compliance.

• Information on Environmental Compliance for DAS Facilities

  The DAS Environmental Compliance Unit provides technical expertise regarding all facets of environmental health and safety for DAS-owned, managed and, on a limited basis, leased properties.

• Capitol Area System (CAS) District Heating and Cooling Loop

  The Capitol Area System (CAS) Management Unit operates the CAS district heating and cooling loop in the Hartford Capitol District which services 13 state buildings and four private buildings, totaling over three million square feet of building space.

• DAS Alert System

  An electronic notification system for CT state employees about work day contingencies such as cancellations or delayed openings, as well as emergency situations that may arise.

• DAS State Owned Facilities Operations

  The DAS State Facilities Operation Unit manages approximately 6.7 million square feet of state-owned floor space in occupied and vacant state buildings.

• DAS Statewide Security Services

  The DAS Statewide Security Unit provides for the overall physical security of the state employees, clients, visitors and assets of the State of Connecticut in both state-owned and leased facilities.

• DAS Collection Services

  The Collections department is made up of the Billing Unit, Recovery Unit, Delinquent Accounts Unit, and the Connecticut State Tax Intercept Program.
