OCC Proudly Supports Two Equity Resolutions at NASUCA Annual Meeting

11/15/2022

The Connecticut Office of Consumer Counsel (OCC) is a proud and active member of the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates (NASUCA). With OCC’s support, NASUCA recently passed two significant resolutions concerning equity issues for both broadband and electric, gas and water utility consumers. OCC Staff Attorneys led the drafting of the Broadband Equity Resolution and supported and advocated for both resolutions:

  • NASUCA Resolution on Advancing Equity & Affordability in Utility Regulation
  • NASUCA Resolution Urging the FCC and States to Support Efforts and Programs that Promote Digital Equity, Digital Inclusion, Digital Literacy, and Adoption of Broadband Internet Access Services.
