  On Thursday evening, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will give remarks at the graduation ceremony for Let’s Get Ready Stamford, a 9-week SAT preparation and college counseling non-profit program staffed by volunteers. The program seeks to expand access to college for high school students of all socioeconomic backgrounds by providing free SAT prep courses and mobilizing them to achieve success in college admissions. Across the nation, the program has guided more than 10,000 under-served students through the college process, increasing SAT scores on average by 100 points.

The building, a part of the CSUS 2020 project, will provide a permanent location for classrooms and offices related to the school’s Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, Geography, and History departments.
