• 7/17/2015 Gov. Malloy Signs Bill Combating Substance Abuse and Opioid Overdose

  On Wednesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy hosted a bill signing ceremony in New London to commemorate the final passage of legislation he introduced that will help curb heroin and prescription opioid abuse.

• 7/29/2015 Gov. Malloy Signs New Law to Combat Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking, Announces Enhanced Effort to Improve Investigation and Prosecution of Exploiters

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy has signed into law a bill that gives law enforcement an additional tool to investigate domestic minor sex trafficking (DMST) and also expands access to services to victims of child exploitation.  In addition, the Governor today announced the launch of a new law enforcement education initiative that will enhance the effectiveness of investigations and prosecutions of this crime.
