• 3/17/2015 Wednesday: Gov. Malloy Announces Statewide Graduation Rates in New Haven and Fairfield

  On Wednesday, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold events at schools in New Haven and Fairfield to announce the state's 2014 graduation rates.  Joined by Interim Education Commissioner Dianna R. Wentzell, local educators, students, and other state officials, the Governor will hold news conferences at each school as well as tour classrooms. 

• 3/16/2015 Gov. Malloy Announces Small Town Grants to Assist Seven Communities with Capital Improvement Projects

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that, in the first installment of several rounds of funding, seven towns in Connecticut are being awarded grants under the state's Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) to assist with infrastructure improvement projects.

• 3/18/2015 Gov. Malloy: Graduation Rates Continue to Climb

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy, joined by Interim Commissioner of Education Dianna R. Wentzell, today announced that graduation rates continue to climb as persistent graduation gaps continue to close. In 2014, the statewide graduation rate increased 1.5 points to 87.0 percent-up for a total 5.2 points since 2010.

• 3/31/2015 Wednesday: Gov. Malloy and Local Officials Commemorate Start of I-84 Widening Project in Waterbury

  On Wednesday afternoon, Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Department of Transportation Commissioner James P. Redeker will hold a groundbreaking ceremony in Waterbury to commemorate the start of the widening of Interstate 84 in the city between the areas of Washington Street and Pierpont Road, creating a third lane in each direction.  They will be joined at the event by Mayor Neil M. O'Leary and other local officials.

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he is forming a panel charged with analyzing and recommending options the state can utilize to finance a transformation of Connecticut's transportation infrastructure over the next 30 years and beyond.

  Governor Dannel P. Malloy and the Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) today announced the launch of a brand new public tool in the event of a natural disaster, storm or other type of emergency that will provide consumers with information they need in order to quickly and safely get medicine, supplies, or treatment when travel is difficult and business closures are prevalent.
