Gov. Malloy: Investigation into Possible Fraud Continues
As the investigation into the Federal Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP) continues, Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Office of Labor Relations (OLR) have forwarded the names of an additional 10 state employees to various agency heads to begin their administrative reviews, bringing the total number of instances of possible fraud up to 44.

Gov. Malloy Joins 15 Other Governors to Urge Extension of Unemployment Compensation
Governor Dannel P. Malloy and 15 other governors from around the nation today sent a joint letter to Congressional leadership, urging a one-year extension of the Emergency Unemployment Compensation Program and 100% federal funding of the Extended Benefits Program before they expire on December 31.

As a part of the ongoing investigation into the Federal Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP), Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Department of Social Services and the Office of Labor Relations have forwarded the names of an additional 10 state employees to various agency heads to commence their administrative reviews, bringing the total number of cases of possible fraud up to 34.

Gov. Malloy: Additional Names Forwarded as Investigation into Emergency Federal Food Aid Program Continues
Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the Department of Social Services and the Office of Labor Relations has notified several state agencies of an additional nine employees who are suspected of filing false and misleading applications under the D-SNAP program as the state continues its ongoing investigation. In addition, the 15 employees whose names were submitted to agencies last week have been given letters notifying them of the date for their individual administrative hearings.
