  The working group Governor Dannel P. Malloy created to review the preparedness, response and recovery efforts of Tropical Storm Irene and the October Nor’easter will meet on Wednesday, November 30.

  On Thursday, Governor Dannel P. Malloy will hold two news briefings from the State Emergency Operations Center in Hartford to provide residents and media with the latest updates on snowstorm recovery efforts. The briefings will take place at 8:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Malloy today announced that the working group he created in the immediate aftermath of Tropical Storm Irene has been renamed the Two Storm Panel and has officially received an updated charge to include the recent October Nor’easter in its expanded scope. The group will next meet on Wednesday, November 9.
